Dr David Uncles is a very personable doctor. He was reassuring at our pre-op meeting and in the anaesthetic room. After the procedure he popped by to make sure I was ok and answer any questions. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you for taking the time to care.

Very professional, clearly spoken and careful to explain what was due to happen. This created absolute confidence and made the whole process so much easier. Care was very much appreciated both before, during and after my operation. Cannot speak highly enough of the Doctor.

Dr Uncles was excellent, he explained everything that was going to happen during my surgery. I came out of the operation with no ill effects at all. Many thanks to Dr Uncles for making me feel at ease during this time.

Instantly managed to put a nervous patient at ease. I found David very friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable. I was also impressed by a visit from David after the procedure which to me showed his level of care. Thank you David.

Everything was explained before hand, on the day he was very chatty putting you at ease, I'm not sure if it was something I said but I don't remember much after that?, the doctor did make a couple of visits during the evening to check on my progress. Great Guy

Profile

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
